Real Estate on Lake Wahwashkesh
It's Wahwashkesh is the largest lake in the Parry Sound district, boasting miles of pristine waters and rugged granite shoreline, perfect for boating, swimming, and other recreational activities. With countless bays to check out and ample crown land, you'll have endless opportunities to explore. The lake is fed by the Magnetawan River, which originates in the heart of Algonquin Park and flows through stunning scenery to eventually empty into Georgian Bay. Water levels can fluctuate up to 12' from season to season, something to keep in mind while if you're searching for a cottage. Enough elevation is key!
Sue and I paddled and camped on Wahwashkesh last summer & absolutely fell in love with the lake. Because of its size, shape and large portion of crown land there there was no crowded feeling. In fact it seemed wonderfully remote.
We offer access to MLS® listings for Wahwashkesh waterfront properties that are updated throughout the day. These listings are supplied through the Canadian Real Estate Association and are provided by participating brokers.
